Chapter 323
With tears streaming down his face, Anthony said, "It was Matthew who killed Hayden. He isn't your average martial artist. Despite everything you've taught me, he still defeated me in one blow. I'm certain that he's an heir from a major family." Wallace's expression fell, his eyes filled with agony. The muscles on his aged face twitched slightly.
With a hint of sorrow, Wallace said in a raspy voice, "I was just on the phone with Hayden this morning. How did he die? He was so young.
"My poor Hayden is gone forever. I swear I'll kill Matthew. He's going to pay with his life for what he did to Hayden. I'll make him suffer in the worst way possible."
When Wallace mentioned taking Matthew's life, the hatred in his voice was so intense that it gave Anthony goosebumps. Anthony felt a chill run down his spine.
Despite that, Anthony stepped forward. "I'm going with you, Mr. Hobbes Senior. I want to kill Matthew to avenge Hayden."
Wallace sighed. "You're injured, Anthony. It looks like your rib is broken. You've endured the pain as you made your way back, and I know you must have been through a lot. Have someone to get you treated. I'll handle the revenge myself." Anthony worriedly said. "I'm still uneasy about you going, Mr. Hobbes Senior. Matthew is vicious and has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve. I'm concerned for your safety. I think I should go with you."
Feeling touched, Wallace glanced at Anthony. "If only Hayden and Eric cared as much as you do. I'll get you treated first. Once you've healed up, we'll go together."noveldrama

In Lambda City, a group of people were cleaning at Lambda Villa. Some were hauling away the bodies, and the others were cleaning the floors.
They were professionals. The floor was spotless, with not a trace of blood to be seen.
Ansel looked around the house before telling Matthew, "Martial artists have shown up in Lambda City lately. They must be picking up on something.
Matthew furrowed his brows. "What does that mean? Are you saying that something big is going down in Lambda City? Did they discover a secret technique or some kind of treasure?"
Ansel sighed. "Martial artists usually face two major roadblocks. Firstly, most of them struggle to improve their cultivation and have a hard time ascending beyond the stage of strengthening their body. "The second roadblock is their lifespan. It's a problem for all of humanity. No matter how great someone is, they're only going to live for about 100 years. The solution might lie with the doctors. "Someone started researching the telomere in our cells and has made some progress. Imagine what would that mean for the martial artists and everyone on the planet." Matthew felt his skin crawl. "Are you saying the world is going to plunge into chaos?"
Ansel shook his head. "It's not that serious. It's very minor progress. The big shots don't even care about it, but some people see it as a chance to make money." Matthew hummed in acknowledgment. With the cleanup almost completed, he was ready to leave. "Alright. I'm heading home now."
Ansel pointed at Sara. "Aren't you taking her with you?"
Matthew turned and saw Sara walking out timidly. He knew Ansel must have had the wrong idea. "Don't be silly. She's not my partner."
Ansel chuckled and remarked, "I understand. You're young and full of energy. You've got an eye for a beauty. She's got the looks and the figure.
"I think you're almost better than your mentor, but he's got a lot more women than you do. He's beating you in terms of numbers, so you've got to try harder." Matthew was bewildered because he didn't know Nicholas that well. "My mentor doesn't seem like a womanizer. Are you saying he has multiple women?"
Ansel smiled and replied, "He has a lot of women. A ridiculous amount. You and him are very much alike." Matthew shook his head. "Trust me, I'm not like that."
Ansel nodded. "He used to be simple and honest like you, but then he changed. He started having more women until it got to where it is now. Relax and take your time."
Matthew was at a loss for words. The way Ansel put it was strange "I'm just his disciple, and that's the end of that. That kind of stuff doesn't pass down. Get it straight."
Ansel's eyes crinkled at the corners. "I'm pretty clear about it. You'll end up taking on his bad traits."
That didn't sound right. Was Ansel implying something?
Looking at Ansel, Matthew
reluctantly asked, "I trust my mom to be faithful, and she wouldn't have an affair. Are you saying I'm not my parents' biological child? Am I actually my mentor's kid? Is that what you're trying to say?"
What do you think?
