Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 4063

Married At First Sight Chapter 4063

After Camryn finished speaking with her assistant, she set her phone down, leaned back in her black swivel chair, and gently rocked it back and forth. She was at the office.

A knock on the door broke her thoughts, and soon Dalton stepped inside.

"Brother Dal," she greeted, standing up from behind her desk as soon as she saw him.

Dalton smiled warmly and asked, "Were you lost in thought? Are you feeling tired? If you're exhausted, you should take a break. Go back to Wiltspoon in a couple of days-I can take care of things here. Sister-in-law Seren is pregnant, and you should spend more time with her."

"I'm not tired," Camryn replied. "I just got off the phone with my assistant at Spring Blossoms, and thinking about a few things left me feeling a bit uneasy." They moved to the seating area, settling on the sofa.

"Why are you feeling uneasy? Is something wrong with the flower shop?" Dalton asked with concern.

Spring Blossoms held a special place in Camryn's heart. She had poured her energy into the shop during some of the hardest times of her life. No matter how her life evolved or how her circumstances changed, the flower shop remained deeply meaningful to her.noveldrama

Even now, when she didn't need the money and had more wealth than she could spend, she still cherished running the shop. When she wasn't at the office, she spent time there. Taking care of the flowers and plants helped her feel at peace, giving her the strength to face whatever came her way. "Brother Dal, would you like some water?" Camryn asked.

"Do you have coffee? I'll take a cup of coffee," Dalton replied.

Camryn nodded and got up, heading into the small tea room in her office.

A few moments later, she returned with two cups of coffee. After setting them down, she went back to the tea room and brought out two small plates of elegantly prepared snacks.

"These snacks are freshly made every day by the pastry chef at home," Camryn said with a smile. "I love them, so Callum arranged for the chef to prepare some for me daily. Whenever I come to the office, there's always a fresh batch waiting. Try them, Brother Dal-and make sure to take a box home for Sister-in-law Melissa. She's been craving sweets ever since she got pregnant.”

Dalton's wife, Melissa, wasn't usually a fan of sweets, but pregnancy had completely shifted her preferences. Now, she had a noticeable sweet tooth. "Sounds good. I'll take a box for Melissa," Dalton said. "She loves snacks now can't go a day without them. But if she eats too much, I'm worried she might end up with gestational diabetes."

As Dalton spoke about Melissa, his tone softened, his eyes filled with affection. He had fully let go of any feelings he once had for Camryn after marrying Melissa.

Had he not moved on, he feared their sibling-like bond would have been destroyed. Callum, after all, had been wary of him, clearly jealous and viewing Dalton as a rival.

Though Callum had started calling Dalton "brother" after his marriage, his lingering suspicion had only faded once Melissa became pregnant. The shift wasn't just because of Melissa—it was also due to Dalton's unwavering devotion to his wife.

Dalton knew Camryn was thriving. With the York family supporting her and Callum deeply in love with her, she was not only cherished by her husband but also treated like a daughter by her in-laws. That knowledge gave Dalton peace, allowing him to focus entirely on his own family.

Camryn still handled significant business matters at the company, but Dalton took care of the day-to-day operations with ease. These days, Dalton rarely attended evening social events, choosing instead to spend most of his time with Melissa.

Melissa, in turn, had grown closer to Camryn. Though they weren't technically sisters-in-law, their bond had become stronger than that of most real

ones.
